tis the season...







































...this is where i'll be spending the day
....this time of  the year is cotton harvesting time in alabama
...they spray it w/ a chemical that dries it up making it easier to harvest
...what it does to me n many of my neighbors is gives me a sore throat
...headache n general ickyness
...funny...this used to be my favorite season

it all started when i couldn't sleep n a friend on facebook had a photo of a tote she made from something called plarn...it was so colorful n cool n i loved the idea of recycling plastic grocery bags (i use canvas reusable ones but i know lots of people who don't...so i thought i could beg theirs)...so this started a weird youtube tutorial trail...here's the 1st

home fried sweet potato chips w pink sea salt....yeah it's really pink...pink sea salt contains various amounts of 82 different trace minerals including...calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper and gold...it comes from the himalayan and andes mountain ranges...i think its an algae in it that makes it pink
