Ah! I get giddy about that, too! My mom told me that my dad's aunt warned her on her wedding day never to accept an appliance as a gift from my dad. I, on the other hand, love it when Craig takes me to Williams-Sonoma for a birthday shopping spree! My Vita-Mix, food processor, and Bosch mixer were all either birthday or Mother's Day gifts!
